Forward Look

This research was begun in March of 2002.
In the beginning, I had very limited information about
either family as follows:

FLAGG

My later father (Harold Sewell Flagg) took me to the Family
grave site in Waukegan, IL in the mid 1960's.
To my knowledge, there are no other living relatives,
making any search very Difficult; also there were no pictures,
no birth or death certificates, no obituaries, no family albums,
no bible, etc. The only other information was the fact that
most of the family seemed to have lived in or around Waukegan.

HART

My mother (Marie Hart Flagg) is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery
in Waukegan. I had her death certificate.
In 1948 after high school graduation, my parents and I went to
visit my Grandmother (Elizabeth McGinnis Hart) near Genesee PA.
It appeared after some initial searching that there was much
information about the Hart families and their relatives since they
all lived in "the Irish Settlement". For this reason, I have directed
my search efforts on the Hart family first.
